Terms and Conditions of Enrollment

 

    The conditions of enrollment listed below apply to all enrollments, regardless of whether they have been      made by phone, online or in person.

 

• The student, on enrollment, subscribes to the regulations and is bound to observe them. The Director reserves the right to suspend persons from classes and premises as deemed appropriate.

• An Enrollment may be effected by a friend or relative provided it is with the full knowledge and consent of the person being enrolled.

• Classes are formed only when numbers warrant it.

• Places in class are non transferable unless with the permission of the Director.

• Transfers may only be negotiated through the Enrollment Centre and must be requested by the third week of term. All transfers are subject to a handling charge except in the case of closed classes or moves to a different level in the same subject.

• The Director reserves the right to close a class or vary the hour at any time for any reason which seems appropriate to him.

• Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or for other reasons outside our control may be rearranged within that term but not after the term ends.

• Refunds are made only when a class fails to form and is otherwise at the discretion of the Director.

• Smoking, Vaping and consumption of alcohol are prohibited by law in any part of the Centre.

• All classes running for two hours or more are timetabled for a tea break. Classes shorter than this are also welcome to a break by negotiation with the tutor.

• School authorities regret that responsibility cannot be accepted for loss or damage to the property of students. This includes cars, motorcycles and bicycles on the campus.

• Important. Please make sure  that the course in which you are enrolling is suitable to your needs as course fees are not refundable except where a course fails to form.

• On receipt of an application together with the correct fee, a receipt will be issued. This may be taken as verification of Newpark's acceptance of your application. If we cannot accommodate you in your chosen course, we will offer a full refund, credit note or an alternative course if preferred.

• Only FULL fees (as listed in brochure/website) can be accepted prior to attendance in class.

• If you qualify for a discount (see brochure) the appropriate amount will be refunded when you call in person at the Enrollment Centre on the first night of term. Please bring your receipt and appropriate evidence if senior citizen, student or unwaged.

• All applications will be dealt with on a strictly "first come first served" basis.                                                       

• GDPR

• Newpark Nightschool will hold your name, contact phone number and email address on file for the duration of your enrollment and for the purpose of essential contact.

• We will never hold your physical address or bank details on file.
