The conditions of
enrolment listed below apply to all enrolments, regardless of whether
they have been made by post or in person.
- An Enrolment may
be effected by a friend or relative provided it is with the full
knowledge and consent of the one enrolled. Places in class are non
transferable unless with the permission of the Director.
- Formation of Classes:
Classes are only formed when numbers warrant it.
- Discipline: The
student, on enrolment, subscribes to the regulations and is bound
to observe them. The Director reserves the right to suspend person's from
classes and premises as deemed appropriate.
- Student Property:
School authorities regret that responsibility cannot be accepted for
loss or damage to the property of students. This includes cars,
motor cycles and bicycles on the campus.
- Transfers may only
be negotiated through the Enrolment Centre and must be requested before
the third week of term. All transfers are subject to a handling charge
except in the case of closed classes or moves to a different level in
the same subject.
- The Director
reserves the right to close a class or vary the hour at any time for
any reason which seems appropriate to him.
- Smoking is
prohibited by law in any
part of the Centre.
- Refreshments: All
classes lasting two hours or more are timetabled for a tea break.
Classes shorter than this are also welcome to a break but are not so
timetabled and are negotiable with the teacher.
- Important. Please
make sure that the course in which you are enrolling is
suitable to your needs as
course fees are not refundable except where a
course fails to form.

On receipt of an
application together with the correct fee, a class admission card will
be issued. This admission card may be taken as verification of
Newpark's
acceptance of your application. If we are unable to accommodate you in
your chosen course, we will contact you to ascertain whether a full refund is required or if another
course if preferred.
- Only FULL fees ( as listed in
brochure or on this website) can be accepted with postal enrolments.
- If you qualify for a discount (see brochure)
the appropriate amount will be refunded when you call in person at the
Enrolment Centre on the first night of term. Please bring your
admission card(s) and appropriate evidence if senior citizen or
unwaged.
- All postal applications will be dealt with on a
strict rota basis.
- Postal applications received earlier than the
date on which the office re-opens for new term enquiries (see brochure)
cannot be processed until after that time.
Crossed cheque/postal
order/credit card numbers should be sent with completed
application(s) to Newpark Adult
Education Centre, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
